    Hi
I own a http://www.petitionspot.com a petitions wesbite. Which is quite popular in Google and MSN and no where in YAHOO And I have never done any black eye SEO. Google and msn drives me huge traffic per day.

But yahoo drives me none. They don’t have my site in their search.

My above said site only comes in yahoo when i type "petitionspot.com" and not even when i type "petitionspot" Only one page has been crawled by them that is home page and they keep on updating the page once in week. But they are not taking the internal pages in to the engine and also not putting the homepage anywhere in the search result.

I kept the site away from searches for 2 months with robots.txt file
So my question is how can I determine if yahoo have not banned my site. OR they have just not crawled the site into their search.

But now it has been 1 month when i allowed engines to crawl my site. and they are not just taking up my site.

Please tell me how can I check for the possible yahoo ban or what i can do get it crawled soon. I believe i am missing on possible few thousands of uniques from yahoo as my current websites is having over 200000 pages with unique Meta tags and contents

    Looking for your expert opinion.

    :( Help

Check your Robots.txt file, or have you even made one?

With billions of pages in the net do you really think someone at Yahoo is going to sit down and take a look at your site and have a personal discussion about what could be wrong with it?

You're not alone on these one. That's why Google is still the best!
Just concentrate on optimizing your site for Google and forget about Yahoo. But I suspect your site is being black hat or something. Any instances that you encounter that you're being black hat? This is what happen to our website before thats why we were being banned by Yahoo. It really sucks at the first time but after few months we've moved on and decided to concentrate on Google which gives us 80% of our traffic and revenue. Forget about Yahoo! they really stinks!

in any case yahoo do not bring even 1% from my traffic but it could be nice to know why my or his site was banned.

Why still care if they dont even bring %1 of traffic. How ironic...Spend quality time on optimizing your site for Google rather than thinking how you were got banned.
