YAhoo backlinks gone!

    Am i the only one who noticed that almost all of my backlinks in yahoo are gone ?

    No i also noticed that most of backlinks automatically gone from Yahoo and I want to know why this happened .. can any one tell me ???

    I noticed that as well for one of my sites...

    Most of the backlinks that disappeared for me were from the same site, is this the case for you too?

    This happens from time to time with Yahoo. Give it a couple of days especially after the weekend and your backlinks should be back. This has happen to me with one of my sites and my backlinks did return.

    I noticed a big drop in Y! links yesterday (from 8,190 to 4,335)

    Since there is no change in my SERP, I'm assuming that Yahoo is making some updates to their Site Explorer???

    It was happened to my site also. I think this is normal to Yahoo.

    Can anyone answer my question? Why yahoo stop increasing my backlinks since i continously building links to my site.

    Any idea?

    Yahoo dropped about 250 links for my site the other day. A few days latter they came back. Give it a few day and see if they come back. It had me worried.

    I started really building the links about one year ago. Went from PR 2 to PR 4, then back to PR 3 (should be temporary -- I've doubled my links since 3/31)

    If you use Marketleap's link popularity tool, it shows a historical graph of every point in time since my site's inception.

    Best bang for the buck: DP, blog comments, and other Do Follow sites.

    My site dropped from 10k to 3.5k and stayed that way for 3 days. Now back up to 8.8k but I have lost about 1k of links which hasn't affected my serps yet
