Hi, Having a few issues with one of my websites results on Yahoo site Explorer. It seems when I check the results via Google Chrome, It shows around 1,100 backlinks (I am 99% certain this figure should be signifcantly higher!) .. yet when I use firefox or IE the figure jumps to well in excess of 3,000. Can anyone offer me some advice as to why? Could it be a problem with my computer cache or something? I have always been sure to put the full URL so it cannot be because I've forgotten to add www. If you could check for me and report back the results I would appreciate it, as I've been experiencing this varying issue for weeks. http://www.theps4forums.com - I will remove this link once I've got feedback from a few members. I use Market Samurai to check for you. It has 3740 domain backlinks(whole backlinks pointing to any page on this domain), at the same time you have 1270 page backlinks on this page. On this domain, Google index 120 pages. The page rank is 1. Hope it helps!
not just browser to browser, but it will differ if you type http://www.yourdomain.com and just yourdomain.com.
that's because it is treated as two different sites on search engines. Google webmasters tools will ask which would you prefer and require you to verify both versions.
