Yahoo API - Help Ranking? SEO?

    hi guys

    I am trying to learn WHY TO USE A API? i an not a hard-core programmer - but will using the Yahoo API help in getting ranked better in Yahoo SERPS?

    anyone with experience with this?

    I think so, but am not sure, hope someone will answer it so I can also know, and work on it (put on sites).
