    I've seen a lot of posts as this is a good way for backlinks, however, the links on there are no follow so how will this help?

    I haven't used it much but yahoo answers typically rank very high in google. So if you get the preferred answer to a popular question than it may rank at the top of google for a common googled question.

    People tend to click through at a very high rate.

    So this is a good example of a very good nofollow backlink to get!

    In addition to what others have said, Yahoo and MSN ignore No Follow at this point.
