If I answer questions in Yahoo Answers (relating to my site's niche) would it help to include keywords in the answer? Or would be putting my link in the source be enough.
Links are no follow, it all makes no mind as far as SEO IMO. The game is traffic, so slap down a really good answer to amke yourself appear an expert and ppl will click on the link.
Yahoo! Answers is great for traffic, especially if the question is relevant to your website. However, Yahoo! Answers is nofollow and you can't provide anchor text for your link; that being said I'd say it's worth the effort for the traffic.
Yes you can add your website in source if it contains more details on the question asked by the user. I also use yahoo answer and getting visitors regularly. No way to get any advantage in ranking. It is nofollow questions and answers forum.
Yahoo Answers is excellent for traffic. If you happen to place a couple of keywords in the title, you'll see that the answers page will be in the first ten in a matter of days.
I think there is a lot of potential with Yahoo! Answers, it seems to have great ranking in Google for its various terms. Good idea!
