Hi Just curious as to how many of you actively use Y answers as part of your seo and backlinking. Once you are level2, are links indexed properly and do they change your serp? Thank you for your input
Not sure how to define 'level 2', but Yahoo answers is a great place for many reasons. Link building there is one of the reasons and a good thing, but remember that for your link to remain permanent your answer must be chosen as the best. Even if your answer is not chosen as the best, Yahoo answers will generate traffic, which is the main point of link building...Is It Not? If you have truly answered the question the best you can and your answer is better than all the other answers, remember to 'VOTE' for your answer as some 'askers' do not choose a best answer or a strictly affiliate marketing person will link to sites and select their answer as best when it has nothing to do with the question. The biggest problem w/ Yahoo answers is a large percentage (about 30%) of 'askers' are not looking for an answer, they are looking for confirmation.
Thank you for your reply. I will start playing around with it more. I have some level 2 accounts (that allow you to place a link in the source and reply) so will surely start using them now.
Now I understand your 'Level 2' part...I had forgotten about their level attainment numbers. I am currently level 5 there, just don't pay much attention to it Perhaps you can help me. If you find or know of a good place to sell an ebook please share it. I have written one on article marketing that cuts all the BS out, introduces lots of new ideas, includes a listing of the best directories, and a template for the articles. It is totally ready to sell, including eCover(s) I don't have time to market it as individual purchases, and would like to sell everything to someone that wants to run with it. I've checked many of the other so called article marketing books, videos, etc and they are inferior to what I share in the ebook. Book is a little over 30 pages.
Well it all depends on the price, if I understand correctly you are looking to sell it with full resell rights to one person for them to do what they please with it? I am pretty sure a few people here would be interested What is your price?
Yes, I want to sell it all, including resell and copyrights. What I've placed in this ebook is everything 'article marketing' and other insights that has helped our 10 month old site rank on pg 1 SERP for 5 different keywords and we rank #1 on one of those. All are highly competitive keywords. Will probably write companion ebook this year. What I was hoping to find some places so that I get get an idea of proper value. Yahoo answers of course is the wrong place as most people there are simply too new and it is not a marketplace. Looked on Clickbank, share a sale, and comission junction, but they are strictly single copies which does no good in research. I/ve looked in many threads here but did not find the right thread yet. Where on here could I see some pricing / offering for a resell and copyrights package?
Thank you for the link. I had already read that thread and it looked more like people wanting to sell individual copies of a work. While I was responding to the OP earlier, I realized a very simple way to sell the book, was to setup a minisite, and allow affiliates to sell it. So I placed a domain order, hosting order, etc...now looking for really good conversion content copy writers...in the meantime setting up a site w/affiliate pages and will let Clickbank do all the work. Thinking affiliates should get between 60 and 75% of sale, don't know if that is feasible though.
It's a good resource if you are looking for something but i don't think it offers SEO friendly links.
Wow, this topic has been very useful, thanks. I used to ignore Yahoo answers but I'll start to use it more often.
Yahoo answer is good for promoting physical products. Mainly people use that place for finding the answer of "How to ...........?" So, if you have some products which will help people doing their jobs easy then you should use Yahoo Answer.
