    Yahoo Answers Rocks!!!!

I made my first $167 commission using Yahoo Answers as my source of traffic. Remember to give a good, thorough answer for the questions related to your niche. And also subscribe to the feed to your email, so you can always be the first to answer.

Wow. $167 commission, that's a lot! What product were you promoting?

I never thought of subscribing to a feed - good idea!

I don't wanna sound too rude, but your English is pretty bad. You need to have an "excellent language" in order for your answer not to get removed. Check out some of my answers, they're all huge and helpful. Always try to write a lot - that always helps!

Health-related products. I made a free report about using Yahoo answer for driving traffic, let me know by PM if you are interested.

One more thing, being first is not always a good idea if you only want to put your links. You need to set up a total commitment to give the best answer as possible, because after all it is your authority and reputation that matters in the end.

The more "best answers" you get, the more authority and respect you will gain.

You're still on level 1. As soon as you get to level 2 - all your links become active. They do this in order to reduce the spam.

Yahoo answers works best when you are the first person to post the answer because everyone after you is forced to see your response.

Great post - I have made thousands of dollars with Yahoo answers
My top tip is to post your 'money' link in only 1 out of every 10 answers.
    Works for me.

No...I don't think this is completely true. You can correct others if you are Damn sure about the answers. I have been doing this in topics where I am confident and people notice you well with this approach.

I am sorry to say but That is so untrue. Now here is why I say this:

Suppose if you are expressing your views on a question say "What is the national song of XYZ country"?

If you are sure about the answer, then it is okay to answer without filling resource box option.

In second case , suppose a question says "Xbox 360 vs PS3" (a very commonly asked on Y! answers).. you can express what you feel and experienced with that particular console.

Now in the resource box you can write "I own Xbox 360" or something like that.
Still no URL in the resource box and nobody will mark your answer a spam.

What is that supposed to mean?

The thing is - if you leave an answer as the first person, you risk getting your answer reported.

Thanks! That's cool. I thought affiliate marketing links were not allowed at Y!A. But it seems to work out for you...

That is true. You can correct others.

I don't really see what your point is. We're talking about URL's in the source box. By putting it there - users may report your answers. That often happens if your answer is short.

My point here is simple and plain. More often, it is how you answer (i.e the tone in which you answer) that matters. URL has to be relevant in context to the question.

The biggest mistake one can commit is by writing "Click here if you want your answer" or something like that.
