Is there SEO behind yahoo answer? they rank well as somebody said in this thread! The keyword used in the searched is based on the topic being discussed in yahoo answer so no wonder it will rank!
I've noticed this lately, too, and I really hope this is just a phase. In my experience, even the correct answers are far less detailed than a good blog or content post on the topic. That's especially true for stuff where a lot screenshots and pictures are helpful when answering. I've also found Experts-Exchange coming up a lot, too, which is irritating because you see the question/problem that you have, only to learn that you have to have an account to view the answer.
experts exchange won't be up in the SERP for long. Google is working on it's own version of this service.
Got any links on this? After Google's Answers failed, it is highly unlikely they will get back into this niche at all. Now Experts-Exchange has been around for a while. You will actually find answers there to many technical questions in most facets of IT. Many answers can be gotton if you keep scrolling down the page actually. Others, yes you need to be a member(an active one) or pay. Business model makes sense here - they need to earn money and the tech savvy crowd are not likely to click on ads - different to the users in Yahoo Answers. BTW, if you are active in Experts Exchange you do give knowledge. gain knowledge and better yourself IT skill wise. Also, for those of you now thinking of spamming Yahoo Answers, do note that Yahoo is currently experimenting with blocking affiliate-type links. Easy to get around, but a suprising move on their part with the filter. Your best bet is to give a good answer in a good niche. I have already posted on another thread where I got about 30K traffic in 1.5 months from Yahoo Answers just for one answer (and am still getting traffic from it right now).
I tried teeth help, and they still there. Does anyone know how much for hiring Yahoo to boost my SERPs http://ezinearticles.com/?Looking-to-Buy-Resveratrol-Ultra-Pure-Online?-Reviewed-on-the-60-Minutes-Show&id=2513600
Ya, I saw that too. But Yahoo! answer are not always perfect because they are not always given by expertise. I precisely I don't like Yahoo's search engine. I always have to use google to search an answer in Yahoo!
That is a quite interesting notice indeed. That goes to show why Yahoo answer is becoming so much important these days. Cool finding!
Yahoo Answers can work but you have to be careful that you're not violating their terms because they will suspend your acct if you do. Good luck.
