    hi,

There are some many link development tips or guide refered Yahoo answer is a proper way to put in link and get backlinks. Then, as a webmaster newer, I have never doubted it.

But, until now, I check my anwers page by firefox with the SearchStatus plugin and found all my link have been marked Nofollow, so what happens in Yahoo answer? Do this mean my answer for backlinks is just killing my time?

I doubt about "other" search engines. Here is a line from wikipedia:
Google announced in early 2005 that hyperlinks with rel="nofollow" attribute would not influence the link target's PageRank. In addition, the Yahoo and Windows Live search engines also respect this tag.

Yahoo answers is no follow, but not a waist of time. If you answer is factual, and well thought out you can get quite a bit of traffic. I have gotten more traffic from an hour on yahoo answers than all day on social networking sites.

What knslms said is true, if you write thoughtful and quality content, you'll get traffic; but don't do it for links. they're all nofollow.

You should use YA to attract laser-focused traffic, there is no link juice from YA.

Posting on Yahoo answers is still a really good idea, imo even if it doesn't give you backlinks. In return you can get extremely targeted traffic which is gooed for conversions;)

Yahoo answers is nofollow. So you will not get any advantage of backlinks. But yes lots of traffic and yahoo answer is the good source of traffic.

I'm think nofollow links do get counted as back links.
I have links in Wikipedia which clearly are nofollow. However, when I look in Google Webmaster Tools, under External Links, I see my backlinks from Wikipedia. So it appears these nofollow links are being counted. I fully accepted no PR link juice will flow, but it seems they are being counted - and probably used for SERPs maybe?

Have others noticed nofollow links in their Webmasters Tools?

Yup, they are nofollow, but bring pretty decent amount of traffic.
Just keep your answers relevant to the questions asked, YA may not like it otherwise and you may end up having your acount blocked.
