Since I started The Penny Mine, I've been spending 10 minutes per day answering 4 questions on Yahoo answers relating to finance. In one of these answers I try to stick a relevant link to a post from The Penny Mine. This way, I'm not spamming and my posts are actually helping people find the solutions they need. This has resulted in a few hundred visits from Yahoo answers so far and (that I know of) at least 6 feed subscribers! Yahoo answers is a great way to market, and you should all take advantage of it!
Good for you but I tried Yahoo answers and it didn't generate much traffic. Besides, it's time consuming to answer questions. Instead of answering questions, I can use the time to network at Blogcatalog and get better results. Good luck to your marketing strateg.
Hmm, never looked into yahoo answers... Can you pick and choose what you want to answer? Seems like it might be a good idea.

if you copypaste your answer to all, that will detected as spam, Im not sure your method is well. I have tried too and didn't get significant result. unfortunely Im hear that live link at yahoo answer isnot alowed anymore.
If you spend time at yahoo answers it's worth it. You have to choose a category, and become a trusted person in that category with long and quality answers. Do not include a link to your sites in every post. I always include a link to my sites 1 out of 3 posts. I also include links to authority sites. This way, you can make some good $ and create some good/related traffic to your sites. Yahoo answers takes so much time and passion, but it might be worth at the end depending on your niche.
I do about 20 anwers daily and you are right it does add up for sure. I would say i have about 1200 links from yahoo answers and at least get 100 u's a week from it
100 uniques a week answering 20 daily..hmm.not worth it..y answers takes a lot of time since u hav to answer a question..how long do u spend to answer the 20 qs?
Answers was good while I was on there but I got carried away with my URL and got booted off. They said to reapply and I was good to go. donrock
Not really worth it, and the right question sometimes comes in days and only if you are that lucky to be logged in and see that question....
What is the secret technique for your answers not to be removed, because based on my experience the person who asked the question usually deletes answers which have link or affiliate links..
