Have you ever tried Yahoo Answers? Also have you ever got the perfect answer which really helped you. I assume most of the times its... just the same old crap.
i had got perfect answer. if yahoo suspend your account, will not delete your perfect answer so it help you
Im a "top contributor" for chemisty and maths there. My answers are always pretty detailed and to the point. Not saying that my answers are all 'perfect answers', but surely atleast one must be
I see a lot of good answers there. Think I am level 4 there now and all my answers are quite detailed - am almost at 50% Best Answer right now. It does get a bit irritating when a lame answer beats your detailed one though. To a good extent it may depend on which of the categories you look at. Any of the pets/homecrafts sections usually have some excellent answers for eg.
I notice that some of the questions I've answered stay In Voting for a long time. When do they get chosen? I think some of mine would be chosen as Best Answer, if one were chosen at all. Are they waiting on either the asker or anyone else to give at least one vote? I guess some questions slip through the cracks and never get an answer chosen as Best?
i do see good answers there too.. actually not much spam.....when i search and i do a lot of searching in there.
google answers was best, because the gars members were paid for their answers. sure it cost you a little bit, but if you had the cash and wanted a good answer to a tricky question it was worth it. on yahoo you get a lot of smart arses, however i have managed to get loads of best answers when pluging my site in the answer. i usually searcg yahoo answers every 3 days to see if anyone is talking about my topic and then help em out, with a link to my site as refference - this is not spamming, it is patient link placement, imo
My answers were chosen as the best ones by the questioners (40% of the total answers) and I write on dairy and food related areas.
The answers are great. They're really good. Most of the people who write more than 2 lines know what they're talking about.
yes, I used it to findout solution for my queries many times, and even though I searched it in google I found yahoo answers and it helps. Many answers I found in single question.
I think my wife has done a good job over in yahoo answers. She has a makeup reveiws/how-tos type blog, and almost all of her traffic comes from answering questions over there that pertain to a post she has already written. She just reference links back to the post after answering the question. I haven't used it a lot though, is what she's doing considered spam, or is it acceptable since she is actually answering relevant questions?
What does everyone mean by "perfect" answers? Is this different than "Best Answer" which is what I always see on Yahoo! Answers?
