Yahoo answers if done right is an awesome source of targeted traffic. Also a good methos is to have 2 accounts, one account for asking question and another for answering it.
Yahoo answers receives millions of views daily, hence if it is used effectively can yield good results for your website. But you have to contribute to the community to gain the maximum benefit. As for results.. I am using the Yahoo answers for quite some time now and getting good response for my websites. Yahoo answer traffic is Niche Targeted, so it works surprisingly well for CPA, Affiliate, Amazon, Clickbank website which I have.
I've used the 2 accounts approach a few years ago for a few sites I used to run. It worked great. I need to do it again for my new sites. Chad
I can see the power of Yahoo answers because they appear in the search results of Google and others. However my experience was that all my answers were deleted after posting some 30 answers. May be my problem was using direct affiliate links (a redirect link) in the resource section. I haven't tried after that.
Sometimes you get rubbish answers from anonymous people. It's best to follow those with good rating answers
A lot of views are shared here. But if I share my personal opinion, I find Yahoo Answer quite helpful.
In the past, say three years ago to start, I did a lot of posting on yahoo answers, providing answers on health related topics. I generated a good amount of traffic to some lengthy health articles I had written. After eleven months I was getting about twenty fivish visitors per day. Aprox six of these visitors would leave my page by way of an advertisement. I got sick and had to stop webmastering aggressively, but I feel I had a very positive experience in the Yahoo Answers pages. As a visitor to Y/A, I rarely click on links ...... This could be because I'm jaded, biased, or untrusting .. after seeing so many webmaster tactics over the years. Generally, any link with an EDU or GOV domain will get my attention.
yup yahoo answer is a good source of targeted traffic. Though links are nofollow but it increase traffic.
not really. links like that will most likely be reported as spam once they are clicked on.... just guessing.
It largely depends on the questions you answer. If the question has alot of traffic potential, then you can bring in money. Be sure to answer with your link in the answer box.
This is not right method,i have used the same method, some days before but yahoo delete my all questions and answers.Yahoo detect IP.Dont' use guys.
