Yahoo Answers is an effective way of promoting a website or a blog. It does generate traffic, the traffic last for a very long time. The most effective way to take advantage of this method is to promote indirectly. Don't sound like you promoting something, selling something or sound like you are spamming. Always take into consideration the type of people that are reading the answer to the question. Promote you link as an additional resource to your readers. For them to find out more information. Once they go to your website, landing page, or blog allow the reader to get more information for free by opting into your mailing list. Once you have their email from them then you have a commitment from them. Its your job to "sell" them on something, such as an ebook or a course, or a product that they might find useful. Converting traffic from yahoo answers is possible but understand that most readers are only looking for answers to their questions.
hi.. I am one of the contributor of yahoo answers and I can say that YA is really effective when it comes to promoting and having traffic.. it is worth the effort and energy
Bit of a mixed bag of responses to whether or not Yahoo Answers is effective. To date I've personally found it to be ineffective, but I will spend more time on it, now that I'm at level 2 & see if that brings any more traffic to our websites. Mark
Yeah, that’s true because yahoo answer is making more traffic for your sites if you comment well. Thanks
I have some yahoo answear L2 Id.I want to sell it.what can i do?Any body help me. kishalaya.icma@gmail.com
I think if you can use the yahoo answers system effectively i could become an amazing marketing tool as the audience is wanting for something of your site's niche. If you do it bad and just post spam, It would not go out very well.
I have also try this seo trick but it is not so much helpfull for seo.sometimes it gives good links and sometimes.....
well it's not a seo trick I guess it's just another way of marketing for your site you need to differate between this two things
Yup. Links from Y!A are no-follows so it's not SEO we're talking about. It's all about getting nice, targeted traffic.
I do believe that Yahoo answers still brings good traffic.. however, it will always depends on the niche.. if answering, you have to find a relevant question to the niche of your site.. and post a very informative one..
yahoo answers is a very good place to get answers to all your questions but it seems a lot of people started to abuse and to use it as a link carrying machine even if they have the nofollow attribute.
I use WikiAnswers more often, which I think more effective and academic.Perhaps I will try it next time.
I asked too many question and I got some satisfied answers. I have posted so many yahoo answers and some of my answers get noticed good.
It may solve a problem or two, but is it really an effective tool in driving traffic towards your online business? My experience to date with Yahoo Answers is poor and I'm at a decent level
Yahoo Answers is quite responsive strategy for your business. As the time spent the number of visitors also increase so i will consider it as a SEO strategy.
