Yahoo Answers...Anyone getting good results?

That is because many people simply abuse it. It is not as good and fun as it was before. I also don't use it so I can't say I'd get good results from it. It may or not, hit or miss.

 

I realize you guys are making money But abusing the Yahoo answers is really rude and annoying, Some people including myself go there looking for actual answers. When I see a link to your websites that is completely not even relevant to the title.. it really boils my piss to be honest.

They're other alternatives to marketing .

If you find something on Yahoo Answers you don't like, report it.

 

The problem that I have found with Yahoo Answers is that there is an over abundance of spam. This is because people have no idea how to use it the way it was designed. If you are going to promote your site there then you need to stick to questions and answers that are relevant. If you have a dog obedience site then why would you answer a question about insomnia and post a link to your dog site. Not logical and it will get you banned. But, if you answer a question about a dog, people are not going to report it. Well the chances of you getting reported is slim. Sometimes a competitor will come along and report you just to get your answer removed. But, that is a rare occasion. Like content boss said if you dont like something report it. But, only report it if they are breaking the rules not because they are advertising a competing site.

 

There are some black hat methods that will help you succeed with Yahoo Answers. I am not really going to get into them here. But, I am sure that you can find them on here or by doing a Google search. But, it takes having about 5 yahoo accts setup.

Well, if you spam a website, clearly you'll get banned! This is not exclusive only for Yahoo Answers...

I do promote a website through YA, and it's getting a good result and traffic. I do not spam and only answer questions related to the website, and point the asker directly to the article answering the question. My account is level 3 and it has never get banned or reported. Just the opposite, I had a lot of my answers selected as the best answer and it add extra points to build the level even higher.

Get one of those fancy "get paid for your writing" scripts. Neowin has jobs open atm I think.

 

getting 200 to 400 unique visitors from yahoo answer recently started . At least 170 to 190 unique visitors every single day .They works great for us .

 

Too bad offering services for Yahoo Answers are prohibited in this forum. Otherwise I can get some extra bucks for that. LOL.
Funny enough that this warning says that YA service is considered spamming while some of the providers do not randomly posting links (spamming), but to find related and targeted questions.

 

i have level of 3 at yahoo answers and fron my knowledge yahoo answers not very usefull to users...

 

if you use it to target the answer, not spamming. then you won't get banned.
but i am not getting like real good results with it though.

 

yeap,, yahoo answer gets traffic when we post right comment and categorywise answer and ask questions...

Replies tend to rank well after time... however the advice given is usually of very poor quality and often inaccurate.

Although I am a Beginner and not so acquainted with the kind of forums available on the web, I started my Journey with Yahoo Answers and found that 80% of my questions are resolved with the help of different Yahoo users who are posting answers to my questions. Now I am happy with most of my problems being faded away. Apart from all these positive comments, I would also like to say that for my each question at least 20% of the users posting answers are actually spammers.
