What you did a big blunder is over optimization of your site. Don't do this... Just answer relevant for the question and place a link in the source box...

The answer you provided for the 1st question would clearly be considered as spam!
Posting a link in your answer rather than the source of your answer may be percieved as promoting an affiliate website.

Posting that link as the url to your website is considered as blatant site promotion.

Also if there are other competitors (people promoting their own site) answering the same question as you, then chances are one of them will report you in order to increase their chances of being seen.

Your post may be appropriate and with the genuine sense, but over optimization is not allowed. source box is there to advertise the links. i used yahoo answers. the whole concept of internet marketing is to be safe hands from over optimization/ spam stuffs. work on building trust. like the reputed and respected moderators on the DP are. i am also working on building the trust on the Google. and trying to build the trust on DP, (not required to mention) but in different way. just replying my thoughts and answers.

I am sorry if said any thing wrong. all the best!

I have made thousands of replies on Yahoo! Answers, have included many links, and have never been held in violation. Here's how:

    • Answer intelligently and to the point.
    • Do not spam!
    • If you include a link, make sure it is relevant to the original question and is helpful to the readers.

Follow these things and you'll never be found to be in violation.

I think it is because of the over optimization

It depends on the kind of answer, as some allow you to place the link in the answer, not the source, and get away with it.

    Eg.:

Q.) Where can I watch [insert name] online?

A.) The best place to watch [insert name] online is [opinion of website].

Somebody reported you - it's as simple as that.
If somebody has reported you for spamming (or any other violation of rules) they will take action - though as you have seen, they may undo it if you appeal.

Its readily apparent you do not know English and your site is spam based.

Not knowing English on an English based website, will indicate someone from overseas, where there are a disproportionate amount of spammers. Unfortunately it may seem prejudicial but its also a common fact.

(Everywhere has spammers, but some countries have a much higher percentage than others, no offense meant)

It must be due to the link you added in your answer. Yahoo may have seen it as spamming. Try to avoid adding too much links in your answer in the future.

Yahoo answers are strict in answers because many members spam their answers to gain backlinks. As much as possible try not to advertise links. Just answer the question carefully.

That's interesting. I didn't know answers got reported like that. The links are nofollow anyway, though
