Adding links just after joining could lead to your account being blocked. You need to earn at least 250 points and only after that your links will appear as active in your post.
You put your link probably every forth or fifth post. Yes i agree with you but i think yahoo ans. is good for seo and will improve ranking even if the links are no follow...
Dont use these services just for the sake for links. Yahoo answers are good sources for finding an answer in the web. Make use of it wisely.
Got to agree with goldhome. You can easily get banned if you're just answering and posting links to your site. Make sure it is helpful to the question.
You must need to add links not at start coz it may look like a spam and you will get ban. I happen to know someone adding some link after a couple of reply or if their is really a need to add such link . Make sure the link is relevant to your question or answer in yahoo answer
Despite Yahoo answers being nofollow I think links can be placed in posts to inform people of a certain resource they can use?
you cannot add links there until you reach level 2, how ever those links are nofollow, so there's no SEO profit, just you can get some traffic.
what i like about yahoo answers even it is a nofollow link you could take advantage of the link as referral source to your site which is a good source of traffic especially if you use it wisely and not as source of spamming source.
