    Yahoo answer is one of very big platform to reach plenty of traffic. If i promote my website through yahoo answer, Will it helps to make my site on search rank? If anyone has knowledge on that please share your knowledge...

    They are only good for referral traffic. They won't help you getting ranked.

    Yes they are nofollow links and a lot of the entries look spammy, I would be careful there.

    I'm using this method to get traffic and have some, but it doesn't get much effect in SEO. IMO

    It is helpful for getting huge traffic, but directly it is not helpful for ranking. But if quality traffic comes in your website and your website is again and again clicked and your clients become customer then it is good for getting ranking.

    Yes, it can give you traffic but I'm not sure if 100% quality traffic, it might not your target people clicked on the link. No, it won't help you improve your ranking in SE.

    You are not going to get any SEO benefit from that. BUT potentially, if you provide the quality information you might get referral traffic to your website. If your site has the quality information, you might get social shares. These social shares can attract the attention of other webmasters and bloggers. These webmasters and bloggers might link to your site. These links might help you to rank higher.

    You can get more traffic from yahoo answer and if your bounce rate is not to high so its good for SEO.

    It is good source for getting inbound traffic.It is popular site so if anybody post answers with links ,they get indexed quickly and get much traffic.

    It's a very Old Technique. you can use just for getting links. But if you say quality backlinks so i would not suggest you.

    What really helps for SEO backlink traffic is if you find what backlinks are negatively affecting your website. Simply google something like "backlink checker". I check my backlink checker every day, and email the webmasters who own that website to politely remove the webpage that links to my website. I have found much success in this.
