Keep in mind that Yahoo Answers links are nofollow. So they won't help Google rankings. They still should help rankings on Yahoo and other search engines.

Do it more than once, someone will notice, report you and both accounts will be banned.
Just don't spam - you know how annoyed we all get when people spam digitalpoint? well, regular users of other sites, like yahoo answers, get just as annoyed.

You will have alot people calling that in, and thats because
yahoo answers has become saturated with that technique.
I think Google has an answer progam simular to yahoo's..check it out

We're sorry, but Google Answers has been retired, and is no longer accepting new questions.
Search or browse the existing Google Answers index by using the search box above or the category links below.

this is what google answers say when i opened that site

i am interested in traffice not page rank

I haven't tried doing that. But if that's your strategy, as far as I know that will be okay as long as you have different IPs to be used because if Yahoo found out that you have two accounts with a single IP, they might banned you...

I dont think so, yahoo actually allow you have more than 1 account but they states at their rules and regulation, you are not allow to use your own account to make point or vote for your own, if they found this, then they will ban you. Besides, if your account get banned, you can actually set up another account, it is not like adsense.

get some knowledge in particular niche, search for questions on that niche and just answer them the way surfer likes with little keywords related to your niche you are targeting.

there is a chance for 50% best answer votes. if you do this in organic sure you will get good ratings as well as traffic from yahoo answers.

Why can't you wait for a question related to your site then answer it and then put your url in, I do that for my joke site when someone asks for a joke I get a ton of traffic there. Plus I get people from there answering jokes and also putting my url it's been a win win situation for me.

I think that you can use two accounts if you change your ip and don't make it obvious that the two accounts belong to one person. Try to build your sentences differently.

All I can say is that Yahoo! Answers is a nice method. Browse for some questions you easily can answer and build as fast as you can a blog at blogspot with further information and some ads.

Answer the question and post your link to your blog as your source. Even if your answer will not be the best, you will get some visitors.
