It not all about backlinks, people still spam because of human traffic

I am afraid I do not share optimism with regards to no follow links.

As for Google, no follow links do NOT help indexing, ranking and PR:

Thanks for sharing. Even though yahoo answer is no follow it is great for traffic and link power. Same thing with flickr. I have numerous backlink coming from flickr that help my linking power.

i would say a few links from yahoo answers is worth it for seo purposes, but there are diminishing returns. no point in getting more then a few other then for possible traffic

 

Yahoo Answers usually ranks high in the search engine results. This means targeted traffic if you post your link in the Answer. It's really hard to do this correct though. Your link must add quality to the post or else it will be deleted.

Yahoo Answers is no follow. The only benefit is bringing people to your site.

 

yahoo is no follow. If you enter your keywords, you'll rank very high for about 4 days then disappear.

 

You could have also setup a CPA blog and earn money with that method...
