Not sure if you've heard about Time's article involving MSN and Yahoo!, but here it is:

if microsoft would change their business model from paid to free software then surely they will dominate the internet. :)

Unlikely they will succeed I feel, Google is just too dominent and its algorythm is much more complex than Yahoo or MSN

They might try to buy Yahoo again because Yang is gone now.

I would most likely use Google still, due to the fact I'm used to using it.

If that happened and MSN and Yahoo, combined their algo's I would concentrate less on Google...Yahoo is the most relevant search engine by far anyway.... Google have fucked us around so many times it is untrue..... If only we could try to get Google to be boycotted.....People with high PR sites need to start by not using Google and just using Yahoo for their searches

At one time, Yahoo dominates the search engine marketing, and Google outperformed them. Now, Google still unbeatable.

He was kicked out by the board since he did not sell the company, or at least to agree to sell it. Yang was the largest factor in saying "no" to Gates when the attempted purchase took place.
