I just got warned by yahoo that i cant display yahoo ads with any other competitor contextual ad on the same page... (in my case along with google) did u guys find that problem ? thats not fair , what u think abt it ?
Umm. You just voilated both google's and Yahoos TOS. Both dont allow this and you should know this when you signed up!
He just doesn't know how to RTFM, read the fliping manual. Oh yah, no one said life's fair. Is it fair that I get to be a wacko and you don't??!! No!!!! But I can help you become a wacko!!!
Why is it not fair and what would your benefit be from running both google and yahoo ads on the same page?
guys, i dont know if its a big deal... as a publisher cant i choose to have two advertisers ? and i think google doesnt mind another ad banner ... i am running google with clicksor since 4 - 5 months and they have not complained abt it ... i am sure they review sites and all ... and u can also have alternative ad being displayed instead of public service ads .... so i dont see why one cant have two banners .... its not the same as keeping the cake and eatin it ... that analogy doesnt quite go here , cuz there are two cakes here...
Keep up the great work my friend. We all have our popcorn out for you! Why? Because we are waiting for your "WHY GOOGLE + YAHOO BANNED ME" Thread. You might be the first person yet to get banned from both!
Google doesn't allow running of other contextual ads either. And, they won't warn you like Yahoo did, they will immediate close your account. It's all in the Terms of Service you agreed to when you became an Adwords publisher.
Ditto VS's comments about rotating the ads - in fact, an excellent way to compare is to show Adsense half the time and YPN the other half - then comparse numbers. Be SURE to stay within the TOS. Ditto INV's comments too - I clicked through on your blog entry VS even though I'm no fan of Anne Smith ... and you pretty much nailed it IMHO.
He's complaining about something that's clearly not allowed. He's only complaining because he can't FTFM (Reat the rules.) Life is not fair. There are rich people like Bill Gates, and poor people like the complainer here who can't read the rules. If life was fair, every human on earth would be like Bill Gates and never have anything to complain about. And of course every one always complains that it's not fair that I am a wacko and they arn't!!!!!!
Just consider yourself lucky that it was Yahoo who noticed it first. If it was Google, they'd most likely ban you altogether
