Yahoo and CSS Style Tags

A couple of days I ago implemented a style tag to reduce the size of my h1 header. I noticed the very next day my rankings on Yahoo for the the term trade show displays dropped from page 3 to page 7. I recently changed the header back to its original size hoping to move back up in the serps. My question is it bad SEO practice to manipulate header tags with css?

    Thanks,

    Mike

    Hi,

I'm sure it's just a coincidence.... that sounds too fast for yahoo, and last I heard, yahoo ignore css, especially if it's in an external file.

Anyway, if yahoo banned sites (like mine) that tailored their tags using css, then their index would be very empty...

I'm positive it's not the CSS, but how small are we talking here - 1pt?

    Cheers,
    Paz.
