Yahoo and bing search results are garbage!

My website, the order of the iron phoenix, ranks pretty well in google, but after a year, we still can't seem to get anything out of yahoo. Yahoo and bing are just so flawed. We submitted a sitemap to bing with over 18,000 pages on it, which we update any time we write a blogpost or create new content.
I really hate bing atm, t says close to 14,000 pages are indexed from the sitemap, yet we can't rank for a single keyword. Any suggestions?

 

I haven't had any problem with Yahoo and Bing. Maybe continue to focus on content and creating relevant backlinks? I've actually found it easier to rank with Yahoo than I have with Google.

 

Yeah, they are slower in indexing stuff (or the way I see it, they index stuff differently), but I am pretty happy with their paid advertising program (AdCenter).

usually ranking for yahoo and bing is faster than in google for me, i havent build much link as of now but the content itself helps the keywords to rank well...

I've always had lots of success with Yahoo and Bing, even more so than Google.

 

My website is kind of a general everything, it's a mess, no keywords intended. The domain name is exceptionally long. I'm not too sure how to build backlinks without getting marked as a spammer.

 

btw AdCenter is now known as bingads. Yahoo and Bing together make up about 35% of the remaining traffic. I'd like to learn how to work them better as well.

 

And their algorithm is also too different, people are targeting Google mainly so most of the sites are being optimized for Google, thats why people don't care of Yahoo too much..

However, what I would say that its most of the traffic is from the USA only, great marketing potential.
