Hi, I have joined Yahoo Affiliate Program and I used a banner for their Search marketing campaign. Now the problem is that they are integrating only $25 Coupon in my affiliate link. But I have seen that many have $100 Coupon in CJ. How do I get that? Here is my landing page http:// searchmarketing.yahoo.com/arp/sponsoredsearch_v9.php?o=USCJ16&cmp=Affiliate&ctv=diner_468x60&s=A&s2=&s3=&b=25&AID=10456547&PID=2311370 Now if I change that code USCJ16 to a $100 one say US2227 then will I get the commissions?
You don't get it in CJ. If you run any unauthorized coupon offer, they do have the right to take back your commissions - The only way to get a higher coupon amount is to drive some good volume at first, and then they might throw you a bigger coupon. If you use the bigger coupon that some affiliates have access to ($50 free) without authorization, they have the right to charge back your commissions as well - It's all about margins here, and how much Yahoo is willing to spend promoting their product in each channel (affiliate, partner sites, direct mail, ROS Yahoo ads).
dude dont play around. I went through this. They will not pay you for anything that does not directly come from there links. Trust me.
CJ's network quality team has been very strict lately with the Yahoo affiliate program, so I agree 100% with Shoemoney.
The US affiliate program for Yahoo Search Marketing is part of the unified Yahoo Affiliate Program. The UK affiliate program for Yahoo Search Marketing is separate from that program. Just be warned, make sure that you follow all of the rules for the program... Yahoo is very strict about their terms.
