You guys sure that is real ? I was told yahoo knows nothing about that page etc, it's a scam, getting your social security numbers.... I'm waiting for verification first.

I am always very leary of anything that asks for my personal info on this net anymore.

That is the same link or thing I signed up for back in May or April, but never heard anything back yet....

 

It didn't ask for any personal info when I applied...They sent an email and told me it was by invitation only...So I guess we'll all have to wait.

For the same ad format, how is the Yahoo ads CTR when compared to Google adsense ?

 

I just wonder on how they will control their new project when their search alltogether is so messed up. I'm sure that they are afraid and concerned about this too.

Adsense is on lowest level, and nothing better for publishers than good competition.
Now you can choose for same keyword who paying better. LOL!

Are advertisers allowed by invite only as well?

 

I imagine that advertisers are from the OV network.

 

They may also be a little more flexible with their TOS which will allow to run some other networks currently not allowed by Google.

 

Let's hope they make a success of it the US and introduce to the UK asap. We need some competition for Google.
