Yahoo Abuse Contact

Discussion in 'Security' started by popowich, Nov 11, 2008.

    Hello,

Is it possible that someone in this community has a real person abuse contact at Yahoo and can make a connection for me? The first level canned answer support has never been any help with their 25 question forms. I have had problems with Yahoo for years and it would make my day if I found out there was someone at Yahoo who cared and wanted to help fix my problems with being able to send e-mail to Yahoo.

I'd be surprised if you got anywhere further than canned answers and mindless level 0 support.

Some of the big free email providers such as hotmail etc want to see SPF records set for your domain

I did not understand the sentence. Do you mean saying someone will help you by giving email of phone contact of a Yahoo support person?

Google, same too. They'll reply with at most 3 times.
Just make a phone call to them and how much you will give them for solving your problem.
Sorry, sir. No money, no support.

The original question was to help me make an ISP <-> ISP connection with a live human being in the Yahoo abuse department.

I'm all set now. Thank you,

don't bother. Yahoo's support is the worst out there. It usually takes weeks to get a reply and when you do it's only a template. They don't even read what you are saying. Even if the template asks you something you have already provided they'll just send unmodified. And don't think yahoo is he only one doing that. Google Adwords does the exact same thing. The only difference is that they do reply fast, too bad the replies are worthless. They never truly want to help.

Stay away from free services and giant companies. The former do not invest because they don't get anything in return and the latter have enough customers to not give a s**t about you. The combination of free + giant corporation is is even worse. Simply advice you client not to use yahoo mail. Since we can't email yahoo customers we advise them to stop using amateurish services.
