Yahoo 1st position and Google 1st position

I have one site it is same niche but dif keyword 1st position in Yahoo and another a lit bit diff keyword 1st in Google...
on Google site i got around 2k per day uniqes and on yahoo 15
what is it? any ideas? It is already for few months...

 

Maybe your keyword for yahoo is not as popular as the one for googl.
However google search traffic is way more than yahoo for sure.

In looking at the breakdown of my sites search traffic IF a site is listed favorably in both yahoo and google I see about 60% incoming traffic from google and 20% from yahoo. Most of my sites pages typically rank a bit better in yahoo than in google (top 10 for a search, but maybe in positions 2-4 in yahoo and 4-6 in google.) If it were JUST the top spot in each I would guess the skew would be even more (Doesn't "I'm feeling lucky" take you to the top result?)

 

its the same for me, google is many many times the traffic from yahoo

sometimes I think yahoos market share in exaggerated

 

yup yahoo has a very low market share compared to google..but msn is the best when it comes to quality of traffic

 

I think it's normal since most people usually get more traffic from google than they get from yahoo.

 

My blog's traffic from yahoo is neglegible compaired to google.

 

depend on what kind of website. I have been ranked first in MSN since a few months ago but I made no sales from MSN. When I got the first rank in Google, I got much more traffic and sales as well.

 

I have the same problem, i am #1 at google and yahoo, have realy low trafic from yahoo. About 10/day.

Congratz.. It's not so easy to get 2k per day unique visitor..

 

MSN has more quality traffic? If that is the case then maybe we should be using msn as the place to concentrate on money generating affiliate sites.????

 

My experience is also that MSN has fairly good, convertible traffic.

This is the first time I heard this thing. Mostly Google has much more share of the traffic than Yahoo, in fact MSN has the second position after Google.

Congrats noname_es it was a great feeling of getting so much visitors from a single keyword.

 

google give more traffic than yahoo and msn... one of my blog has top ranking in google,yahoo,msn and altavista but i get very less visitors from yahoo,msn and altavista as compared to google 400-500 per day.

Google is having search market of 70% visitors on the web.
Yahoo and other SE's are now just for the webmasters.

 

Thanks to all. Now i will spend soometime on msn... it is indexed there but i realy never put too much on it..Yahoo out of biz for me

 

It is VoIP related. Compeition is about 1m as shows seo analizer i use.
