Hello Guys. google : "keyword" = match exact phrase , [keyword] = match exact term only I am wondering for what is the different between "cheap book", this show in search result 461,000 [cheap book] , this show in search result 8,020,00 Why it is different and what does this work ??
with [cheap book] it will show that term only. So your ad will show up ONLY if the search term is cheap book and cheap book only. For "cheap book", you ad will show up for that phrase. So if you search for "cheap book australia", your ad will show up, whereas if you had [cheap book] it wouldn't. An example of where you would use square brackets is if you want to show up if someone searches a broad keywords, but not if they search specifically. For example, if you ran wine tours, you might want your ad to show up if someone searches for just "wine tours", but not if they search for "wine tours perth". (wine tours is a bad example but hopefully you get the idea!) Some more examples that hopefully illustrate my terrible explaining: If you search for "cheap book": both phrase match and exact match would show your ad If you search for "cheap web design book": neither phrase match or exact match would show your ad. If you search for "cheap book about web design": phrase match would show your ad (because the phrase cheap book is in there), but exact match wouldnt Hopefully that makes sense!
