in case i want to evaluate to open a xxx-rated web site (not a porn site, but a site offering paid links to porn sites), do i need to find a specific hosting company? where can i promote the site then to rank in the search engines? thanks

servage.net is really cheap + lots of bandwidth + allows adult sites

Yes, not all hosting networks accept adult content, you need to check this out carefully or risk having your account closed

lol, good luck with that... getting ranked at engines for adult terms will cost big bucks

mm I was think on some pixel advertising about this theme :) with some original features. Do you think it will be expensive to promote it?

Good luck with that. Personally, I think lard is less saturated than the porn industry.

Ha ha... not that I expect anyone to believe me... but I joined that place because they have a good board where they sell non-porn websites

Majority of webhosting services if they allow xxx or adult related sites will ask that you have a "Enter or Exit" page. Just so that minors have the chance to leave the site if they accidently found it, I had to inforce this as my hosting business has a couple of adult related sites and I got a couple of complaints from users requesting that a enter or exit page be added as the domain names sounded innocent enough. They would not tell me how they found the sites in the first place if they were not looking for them...
