Hi, yes these .xxx domains are for porn or websites related to porn stuff and these domain names are just like the regular .com and no bad effect on SE's

Not worth a single cent bro. you pay 100€ a year just for a .xxx domain. I wouldn't recommend buying these as most of the good domains are already taken or can not be registered.

Well it makes filtering a lot easier.
So if you own an .xxx site, chances are you will be filtered and blocked by some businesses, schools and organisations.

I got a feeling that they will bring out a rule soon where if you own a porn site under a different tld other than .xxx you will not be allowed etc.. That would make more sense to own a .xxx

In my opinion, .xxx only seems worth it for well known websites and brands that are already established, who just want to buy it before someone else (even thought they could dispute it and get it back, but that costs thousands of dollars).

All the real good generic terms have been sold at a premium price.

I don't think there will ever be an industry standard or laws stating that all porn has to be on a .xxx, if anything it's worse to have .xxx because you can just be automatically added to various web filters.

Everyone knows mobile internet will be huge and is to an extent, but look at how bad the .mobi extension is doing

I'd keep my hads off the .xxx domains. Some time ago, different big adult ISPs stated they see no incentive to move to .xxx whatsoever... Reason being that blanket filtering of these domains is quick and easy. It looks like more ways to cynically cash in on those people or entities that buy into .xxx domains personally relating to them to avoid spoofs and mockery. In the end it is not the baddest business idea, but ultimately it's total garbage and the way I look at it, it's pitched dishonestly.

We will see just how popular they get, I suspect the entire domain industry is going to change with the vast amount of TLD now available
