Xubuntu on VPSLink, Install GUI

Hi,

I just got a vps from vpslink and i chose Ubuntu for the platform. I tried to install xubuntu for the GUI and vncserver but it doesn't work. Is there anybody know how? I tried it last time, it worked. I don't know what i missed.
Here's how i'm doing it:

apt-get update

apt-get install vncserver then run vncserver, type in vncserver password

apt-get install xubuntu

then i tried to connect to vncserver remotely, it doesn't work like last time that i did it. What am i missing. It should be working.....

Here's the screenshot after i connected to vncserver, it seems like xubuntu doesn't start. How do i check if it installed properly or not and how to start it if not.
