it is possible but to do that you bios have to have facility to boot from pen drive. if it is there you can do that.

if you plan to install windows 7 from usb thumb drive, u need to get at least 4Gb drive as i far as i concern the size of the windows 7 installation files is about 3.6+Gb That's another story if you know how to compress it, but it will take you about 2 days..(can you imagine that? too long..) to setup your thumbdrive with windows installation just search for this software -- boot from usb drive
