xp sql server databse having issue in attaching with win7 sql server

Hi
i have a sql server database that is working in win XP and now i am going to upgrade my OS from XP to win 7 i have also installed sql server 64 bit over there but when i try to attach MDF file win7 sql server gives me error msg ACCESS DENIED.

what is the problem there?

Try creating a backup of the db on xp and restore it onto the new machine. Should work okay then
