I agree especially when you start putting stuff on your computer. When i put vista on my computer it ran fast after I had put all my programs on it ran as close to the speed my 1.6ghz 500 Ram pc runs, and my computer with vista is 2.4ghz and 3gb Ram.

I love Vista! It's way better than xp I don't see why so many people dislike it.

Because it's slow, and has many bugs. They really should test there OS's better before bringing it on the market, but that's just M$'s way..

May be because you are using Vista for very basic stuff and/or have the latest 2007 hardware, but any "Experienced PC User" find Vista full of bugs, not compatible (yet) with all software and the worst of all... a MEMORY Monster!, where a 1GB RAM PC feels like using XP with 256MB or less.

Vista takes up to much space.

I will stick with XP, I don't need fancy features.

I'm gunna say Vista, everyone was saying the same about XP when it first came out, it just takes time getting used to Microsoft's useless OS's :D.

Even without aero need more resources than XP.

I have seen a friend's Dell Celeron 3Ghz, 1GB RAM brand new (this was 3 months ago), we open the box and turned ON the PC, the pre-installation process was very slow (about 25 minutes)... after the registration and activation process I quickly open the "task manager" and saw 600MB to 700MB of RAM already used.

This is the reason I use Linux now.

That's so true, especially as Vista is so different from XP.
