    been using vista on my main workstation for a year now, its excellent

    still have xp on my laptop, i like it but kinda got used to vista now :)

    and btw my job involves administering more than a dozen linux servers and i run linnux/osx/bsd in vmware for development and testing as well


    so i know quite abit about all OSs, use whatever is best for the job each has its strenghts and weaknesses

    Vista looks fancy but lacks practicality. XP is an established operating system that's been around for quite a while now, maybe Windows 7 will prove to be the next XP!

    On different note, I wonder if Microsoft are aware about how badly Vista has gone down. Hmmm.

    XP, I had to get rid of Vista due to so many crashing and firmware issues. Ill install it again after SP1 or 2. The 'Aero' graphics that Vista employs can be turned off along with many other features with lowers what resources are needed. It is still buggy though.
