I like XP. But when the bugs are fixed in Vista and most all the vendors have everything updated for Vista, then Vista will be nice.

Microsoft is discontinuing licensing for XP at the end of January, so I'm not sure if it would be worth going with XP now. :(

For my system XP is better, it has some older hardware and lesser ram. Vista looks nice but requires a pretty ne system.

Well i'll vote for vista ;)

It opens folders faster than xp, it's easyer to search for files, Ready Boost is great option, and there are many many more usefull things in vista.

I can't agree more. Vista is much better. XP is old but it will work better on a system that can't support Vista, just like Windows 98 works better on a system that can't support XP :p

Never tried Vista... But it uses to many resources! XP for me.. Why to give away resources just to have nice look...

Vista for me. Regardless of how it works out for others, Vista is far more secure, stable & good looking for me. I have been using it for 6 months now without a single instance of a problem or my PC hanging.

    MS rocks.

I have Vista on my laptop and XP on my PC. I like Vista, it's nice and the GUI is much more user-friendly. Although, Vista does suck resources so a decent PC is needed for it.

I agree somewhat with your first sentence. However, I have had a lot of problems with Vista on two seperate laptops. For example, my second laptop we've had for only 1-week. Vista installed two auto updates two nights ago when we were shutting down the computer. Next day I go to turn it on and Blue Screen of Death when loading. I spent 2-hours on the phone with MS support and they could not figure it out, I ended up reformatting. This is a very similar problem I had with my other laptop as well where it suddenly started telling me that my product was invalid. MS couldn't figure that one out either because my code was indeed valid (and worked fine after reformat/reinstall). I really like the security of Vista, but hate how bloated it feels :(

XP use less resource, power. Vista is more beautiful but consumer more resource. So XP is suitable for now.
