XP And Ftp Login Problem

I am using Windows xp for upload data on FTP
I am currently format my system
I am using windows xp professional with service pack 2.
I have also install Norton 2006.
I have long site url. Before system format I have problem with connect to ftp so I have add in firewall option allow site list in Norton. But after format system still this problem created. Not connect with ftp error comes up time out.

Please Help Me As Soon As Possible

 

What kind of FTP problem are you referring to? Can you login into your site via ftp.

 

its not ftp problem i think, Timeout Usually tells there is something wrong at Hosting Server end.... Or there is possibly one more reason for this, your firewall is blocking ftp to make an internet connection.... try to ad this ftp client in your allow list of firewall
