Xoom to Hdfc Bank transfer - How much time

    Hi Guys,

    How much time does it take for XOOM to transfer paypal funds to my HDFC bank account ? any experiences I request you to please share.

    Why dont you go for cheques ? Or receive cash at selected banks....

    XOOM says that it can take up to the next business day for the bank deposit to be made if the sender uses PayPal to pay. They may cancel the transaction if you are the one initiating the transfer to yourself though (because then it would be considered an intra-country transfer and they don't offer that service).

    Based on my own experience it takes hardly 4-5 days for this process (xoom to bank transfer in indian banks).

    Update: just had the payment credited to my bank account which is exactly 48 hrs now.

    i show u smart way


    Find Exchanger who do PayPal to Bank deposit . there are many indian exchanger out in currency exchange system

    They might do Faster then xoom and other Strick processor

    You can withdraw your money from paypal to hdfc bank account(I do this) directly.

    allow up to 5 workings day (exclude sat-sun) as some banks do not work on holidays

    But at the end you'll get little bit less money in xoom compare to paypal. Have you checked that thing :rolleyes:

    yes I agree with DON. Go for direct PayPal withdrawal and you will get the money in 2-3 days in your HDFC account.
