Xoom Questions

    Hi

    I recently learnt of the fantastic services of Xoom.
    What I was wondering is, I am in Australia and I receive regular payments into unverified PayPal accounts.
    I was hoping that it is possible for me to open a Xoom account and send the payment to myself (To my bank account) using the same name etc that is on my Xoom account.

    I heard that you cannot send money inside the same country?
    Will they care that my PayPal is unverified?
    Will they care that I am sending money to myself?

    In case you are wondering, the main PayPal account I had with my bank attached got limited so I have been forced to do something like this.

    I of course would feel way more comfortable doing it with something like Xoom or a company instead of getting a person to do trades.

    Just wondering.

    Any help is appreciated.

    As far as i know you need verified paypal account to send money through Xoom.

    BTW you can call xoom through their given phone number at their site or email them asking same question.

    you can send money from your paypal to your bank using xoom but your paypal should be verified or else they will not allow you.. however i will suggest you give a try because most service have lots of limitation for indians... so maybe they need indian paypals verified but allow others unverified... so best way is to try once and if they dont allow, then buy a VCC that will cost you $5 to get your paypal verified... and then send the money to your bank... and once done you will get the money in your bank in 5 days...

    Just get your Paypal account verified with a credit card and then you can withdraw money via XOOM to Australian bank account as bank deposit.:)

    So is it absolutely 100% compulsory to have a verified PayPal?
    I mean I know you CAN send even when you are unverified, even though you have limits, that isn't a problem.
    But will Xoom accept funds from an unverified PayPal?

    Oh my god.
    Xoom not only doesn't accept the funds from unverified PayPal account's they limit them as soon as you try and send money from them...

    OMG $500 USD GONE!

    Xoom = Worst service ever.

    As earlier i said that you can't send money through xoom using your unverified paypal account. Don't know why you have taken that risk :confused:

    Oh well it was from selling a product. I will try and issue the buyer a refund and get them to send me the money to a different paypal. Might work.

    xoom only accept paypal verify,,, make sure next time ur acc verify before sending money if not ur acc get limit

    bhai mere, vcc dont work for US, AUS, Canada and UK... these chaps need to verify there pp by credit card only ....

    n zel , what exactly u mean by 'limited' - i guess that means that they have just holded it .. n its not gone.. y cant u verify ur paypal by using ur credit card? i m quite sure once u do that they will release ur funds... i have had good exp with xoom.. hope u get ur money back as well.. all the best ...
