Hi Friends, My xoom payment got canceled due to 'Intra-India' transfer. I have an Indian Verified PayPal account. Is this the reason why it got canceled? Could you guys explain what happens if a payment gets canceled due to Intra-India transfers.. Do they charge cancellation fee? How long it takes to get the money credited back to paypal? Please help guys. should I transfer the money to my mom's paypal account nd then transfer the money to me. I wish to pickup the money from Punjab National Bank. Regards, OmShanti.
First important thing is you have to select cheque delivery OR bank deposit option as disburshment because they not allowed intra-india transaction when you select cash pick-up option. And relax they will return your funds for sure.

why are u using pickup.. use the direct bank deposit i ve used xoom and i faced no probs......i am also from india. Thanks
It is better to transfer fund direct to your bank account rather than check option to avoid such any problem.
Thank you buddies, I just got a refund that too within 12 hours I guess. They sent the whole money into my paypal account. Xooom is just amazing.. as of now. I called them up, long waiting time to get them.. via the toll free #.. and then I confirmed it with them that you cannot ask your spouse, buddy, mother to send you that much money via their paypal account, and you need a paypal VERIFIED account only to make payments with xoom. So after all the research work and a little bhaga daudi, I found myself doing what most of you did, bank transfer just an hour ago.. Now, what do you guyz think will be the possible time frame or date that I will get my money in my bank account.. and Hey guyz, if you are from mumbai, PM me.. You will get your funds in your bank account by monday or tuesday but wait its possible only after your tracking status show you 'Payment Autorization Sucessful'
You will have your funds in your account..within 2-3 business days after payment authorization. Moreover, I have my cousin in Mumbai, let me know whats the secret plan you have.
Here what I got from xoom status link.. I want to know how much time more it will take to receive the payment.. and I even received an e-mail stating "Your payment has been processed, and we have transferred your transaction to our partner for deposit." You need to wait for 2-3 business days.It should reflect in your account by today,monday or tuesday max.
Hmm, I couldnt think of a valid reason why xoom doesn't allow relatives to send request/send. So does this mean that there's an amount limit?
