Xoom Problem .Need advice .

    Hello, i wish to send money to my cousin in US via xoom since it has low fees and fast service. But the problem is i am located in a different state in India, not my home state. So i can only transfer funds using my credit card, but i am afraid, xoom will block me because of "IP" difference. Can i safely attach my cc to xoom account from not-even-remotely-near my city (address in my credit card). Could someone kindly advice me how to overcome this problem? I am taking my masters education so i cant be at my home town for another 2 months. Can i use a proxy of my hometown or whatever.. advice needed

    well. i think this is allowed and xoom have no option to check your credit card address and the different IP address you used from. i have yet to send any money via xoom and i'm planning to transfer my paypal money by xoom later.

    but that would be dumb security!! so are they gonna verify me somehow tht indeed i am the card owner who is authorizing the transfer ?

    ok since the situation is somewhat kind of emergency, i have send him roughly $xxx via xoom just now.. But when i try to track my Transfer number i am getting message.. "This transaction is in our customer verification process. We will update the status when this is completed. " . So will they be calling me, or should i call them ?
