    Hi

I was wondering if Xoom.com needs SSN to transfer money from Paypal? Does anyone know?

Yes it does, if you are using the identity of a US citizen to send money.

If your paypal account is Non-US (Indian), they will not process the transaction.

If your paypal account is a US account, it will go through smoothly (as long as you are using a US identity to send the money).

So I do have a US Paypal (verified account) with my bank. But I havent provided my SSN yet [not added creditcard or anything yet].

So would Xoom ask me my SSN?
