I initiated a money transfer on XOOM last friday and today I got an email stating that the transfer is complete.However there is a TPO number attached to the email. This is the email given to me.. In other cases, however, they are processed via a bank-to-bank check called a TPO that is dispatched (delivered) via courier. A TPO is normally delivered to the recipient's bank branch within 3 to 5 working days. It is at this time that you receive this email stating that the transaction has been completed. However, the recipient's bank may have further rules and restrictions which may add several days until the funds reflect on the account. If your transaction was processed using a TPO, the number appears below. Please provide it to your recipient so that they may track the status of the deposit directly with their bank. Go and check your bank account,the amount has already been credited. XOOM is showing transaction complete message and it means you have received funds in your bank account Enjoy your money
Sometimes, it may take few hours for the changes to be reflected as well as different banks, different policies. They do not deposit the money by cash, so there is a possibility that the change is not instant.
When you get this mail .. Typically within next day your cheque (called as TPO) will be deposited with the bank you have mentioned unless it is holiday. If it is holiday then you will have to wait for sometime,, Usually TPO clears within 24-36 hours.. I got a mail at 2.00 am in night stating the same thing In morning at around 10.00 amI got a SMS stating that a Cheque has been deposited in my account. In evening at around 7.00pm when I checked acccount online the amount was credited to my Bank account. So do not worry .. unless it is holiday you will get money within 24-36 hours. Hey, Did the money finally go through? I am having the same problem and its been more than 10 days that xoom has updated that the transaction is complete. They have provided with a TPO reference number and till today (June 25th) the money has not yet reflected in the recipients account. How long did it take for the money to reflect in your recipients account? Thanks. Surendran
