Xoom (Intra-India) Withdraws Closed, confirmed with XOOM Support Team

It was working before, but now they are telling that Intra day to India banks are not working, because of changes made by RBI.

 

Oh God!!!Not again.Luckily i made a withdrawal recently.Since when did they stop it?It was working till yesterday.

 

I withdrew on Saturday. The status says "completed", but I did not get any money. Of course, I can't expect in my bank acc. on saturday. I'll let you guys know if my transaction was successful tomorrow.

 

Do u have any idea to withdraw money from paypal???

How many days will it take to transfer money from paypal to credit card???

is there any possibilities to cashed out the money from credit card???

And how many days will it take???

Oh. I transferred money using xoom on 19th and it has been in the partner processing stage for 2-3 days now. Is it going to be canceled now ? ?? ???

 

So, Xoom also closed their doors. I think there will be no transaction to India in the near future until they sign up with RBI. (I think there is a member in DP forums who is working in RBI)

 

What an assumption!

It is not the information here that would have alerted RBI, but sudden spat of withdrawals and money coming into our bank accounts from them...which would have alerted them!

No, I think it's only the transfers made till 20th Feb that are working. After that there have been no succesful withdrawals. I withdrew on 19th and the check got deposited yesterday. (XOOM status is "completed -> deposit in progress") . I hope they don't cancel it now.

 

I made a xoom transfer on 19th usually it takes just one day to appear in my bank account. Transaction status shows completed but I dint got funds yet in my bank account

 

My transaction was canceled after the message "Deposit in progress"

 

Thats coz they stopped intra india transfers as they spent all thier money

Dude xoom rejected all my transcations from the time it was working for all i am making fun of xoom not you guys.. i myself am stuck bad ..

Best way is to request check

 

What if we transfer our PP amount of to some of our friend based out of India and then request them to transfer through Xoom??? Will it work???

And also if our amount is big, we can request our client to make the payment directly to Xoom.


I know it would deduct lot of transaction fees but still this could be the fastest way around to get money in ur bank.

 

I Tried this i asked one friend from australia to do it .. didnt work out they just cancelled it.. maybe waiting for 2-3 days would be a good idea so they refund the people first
