I am having Indian paypal account , my brother is working in US and he is having verified paypal account. If i transfer my paypal to him and if he use xoom at US and send me money , then can I use pickup facility here in India?

i did the same few days back... through my friend's paypal account in malaysia.

they deposited money to my bank accout in timely manner. i love xoom.

If your bro is in the US they he can simply transfer it free of cost to his bank account there and then use the bank to bank wire transfer...That would take much lesser time and trouble I guess..

 

hey u have two option either give money to your bother and he will send u by wire transfer or directly transfer the money to xoom and xoom will transfer the money to your account , both takes the same time for the process if u have any query related xoom feel freely to ask me

 

i guess thats the only way you can get your money through xoom. xoom never allow the sender and receiver to be in the same country. i tried that many times and i failed many times. xoom will storm verification calls about the transfer. fortunately we have moneybookers in philippines and with the help of DP member SWEB i trade my paypal for MB. then transfer MB to my bank account. MB charges around 2.43 for $100

 

I think xoom is available in philippines too. I have sent money through xoom to philippines but I want to have my own money.

yeah... better call them. i have their toll free number: 1877-815-1531 you can use Skype to call them.

 

Why can't you transfer ur amount to xoom from India itself ?
I mean just signup xoom and add the receiver address as your same and then select the funding method as paypal.

I have done it !
And transfered cool (but it charge $8 as xoom fees)
Taken only 3 days to credit in my bank account !

 

the receiver n sender cant be same country.
Send Ur paypal >> brother paypal >> Xoom >> pick up in india.

I have done many times. U can pick up money india in less than 20 minutes as soon as xoom process ur transaction

 

But I have seen someone in DP threads that he ask xoom and they said that it is possible to receive paypal fund via xoom in India !
