XOOM Free Transaction Coupon Code - July 2009

    Hello DPers,

    Just wanted to share a coupon code with all of you. If you are using xoom you normally pay 9-12 USD as service charge but now you can transfer for free in month of July using the following coupon code.

    Coupon Code: JULYREMIT

    It worked for me. Just used it 5 minutes before.

    Yeap thats really works :) Used it again after 8-9 months with this coupon code and it saved my $20 fee ;) I thought that xoom not giving coupon codes now a days but thats not true :p

    That coupon code could have come to great use for me but now I can see that my country has been removed from xoom's list. Too bad I could never transfer funds from this service (I tried a few times before already).

    Since when do people "withdraw" money from Xoom.
    Xoom, like many payment processors, likes to earn money during currency conversions. If you HAVE USD and SEND USD, then no problem. If you HAVE USD and SEND <something>, you will lose about 5% of the total amount. People don't realize it, but Paypal, Moneybookers etc. do this too.

    Check the official exchange rates at your bank and compare them with your Xoom send page to see what I mean.
