Xoom Ends to Process Transferring Funds from indian paypal Account- No More Xoom

From today they not processing anymore.
mine two transfer says refund in process after deposit in progress.
i just made a call their customer care and they confirmed that RBI put restiction.

RBI seriously fucking us

 

This was bound to happens, all the money freelancers were withdrawing was business transactions and Xoom is not allowed to carry business transactions...

At least RBI should tell what they want and why they are holding these kind of restrictions.

If this is all about Tax than give a details about this, so that we can plan our next step.

 

i think it is time for a RTI application at least it will tell us something i am assuming that this falls under the RTI perview

p.s got my transaction cancelled as well even though i didn't use any coupon code.Does any body know about the cheque option how much time it takes and how is the cheque sent in USD or INR etc

 

Yes, Xoom has stopped working for us finally. That is the mail i got recently...

Please note that as per recent RBI guidelines, transfers from an Indian Paypal account to a customer;'s Indian bank account are no longer permitted.

So i think now we have to find another way to get our money. RBI is just fucking with us. It would be better if they could tell us what they actually want instead of creating this kind of situation. If we can pay fees as well as we can pay the tax also.

 

I withdraw using cheque from paypal about 6 days back.I will let you know If I get cheque

 

This really sucks, my transfer is stucked in the way. Now what to do?? only paypal cheque option seems best possible way atm.

 

even a credit card payment to bank account from xoom has failed.

CC works perfectly fine and 2 yrs ago when bank withdrawal option wasnt there everyone used CC only..

exchange rate is similar to what xoom provides.....However there is 5$ fees so its kinda ok..

 

so if we inistiate a transfer to cc after money back from xoom to paypal it will be better because fees r hell in xoom

after getting the amount in ur cc just go atm and make a withdraw .
normally a fees 250 or 300 attacks for that .
and u will not be charge for cash advance for the whole statement period if there is no oustanding and if u have any outstanding then that will be adjusted with ur pp blalance

 

First Indian Govt, RBI, PayPal and Xoom really playing money game with Indian peoples... I think they are very happy now but we are not happy with this situation we are still crying, any body know that when this problem will be resolved, every body says its resolved soon, but we don't get any updating news from any authorized sites or department

 

Well now i can't access my xoom account, it doesn't accepts my username/password. Also my transaction is not traceable, this is really worrisome, anybody else facing the same issue with xoom.com?? Well they're not picking up the phone, no response to my email.

Something fishy is definitely there.
