    Hi all,

I have a question about receiving money via Xoom.

I like my client's to send me payment to my current account (Company account) where as xoom option shows to fill first name and last name of recipient.

My question is, if they fill name of my company and my current bank account no., funds will be transferred to my account? or shall i collect money in my personal name.

    Sorry for noob question..

    Thanks in advance..

Well if you have current account, best option is you ask him to send direct wire transfer to your account using his bank services

Thanks Jalanbk for your reply. All my clients are form UK, and basic problem in wire I am facing is their bankers are unable to fill my bank details. They have only one field for beneficiary name, place for one swift and bank name, where as for transfer of payments, our banker need to have a intermediate bank in London, the route stated by my bankers is:

Clients Bank swift>> Standard Chartered Bank London swift>> my bank in India (My bank is having an account with stanchart London) Clients do sent me the wire form and I am unsure on how to fill that because it requires followings:

    1. IBAN or Bank account no.
    2. beneficiary name, address, account no. and swift
    3. message to beneficiary

There is no place to add 2 swifts or bank details. :(

Xoom will not allow to transfer funds into your current account. Xoom is for personal payments only.

For wire, I think there might be something wrong.
I've a client from UK and I have given them following details and that worked well.
    Beneficiary Name :
    Beneficiary Address 1 :
    Beneficiary Address 2 :
    Beneficiary Address 3 :
    Beneficiary Account Number :
    Beneficiary Bank Name :
    Beneficiary Bank Address 1 :
    Beneficiary Bank Address 2 :
    Beneficiary Bank City :
    Swift Code:

Well Indian banks does not support IBAN, but we do have Swift Code for international wire.

talk to a senior Customer support executive in your bank and they will provide you all these information which you need for wire...
