XML sitemap problem

    Hello again,i have sitemap problem,I genreated it from the online free generators and it indexes just my index page not the swf files that i have on my XML site,how to make it index those flash files too so i can submit it to search engines,thank in advance!

    Do you want the crawlers to actually parse your SWF files for link references? Or you do you the sitemap to include swf files? (Or are you actually trying to make a video sitemap?)

    Hi N. There isn't much point in having your flash files in the Google XML sitemap - they 'mostly' aren't parsed for search.

    hey,I have problems,when I generate sitemap,it just shows index.html page not the other swf gallery pages i have,please see my site at theimpulsedesign dot com and i think you will see what I want,thanks in advance

    Do I need to make sitemapo for each of my external swf files,like this theimpulsedesign dot com/pages/contact.fla.....to make it indexable by crawlers?

    As said above flash files generally are not indexed by Google and its the same with Images. You cannot submit an only image URL in sitemap for indexing

    did you checked my sites,how to make it read flash files,because I know that they can read it,when i make my sitemap it makes just 1 page sitemap and thats really anoying,please help

    At present, we are only discovering and indexing textual content in Flash files. If your Flash files only include images, we will not recognize or index any text that may appear in those images. Similarly, we do not generate any anchor text for Flash buttons which target some URL, but which have no associated text.

    You cannot include llinks to your .swf files or images in the sitemap. If you do they are ignored. Just list the html page URL where the swf or images are located and google will index it automatically. Nothing mroe to do
